Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets — skin-on, about 180g each
- 3 tbsp honey
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 4 garlic cloves — minced
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- salt and black pepper — to taste
- fresh parsley — to garnish
Instructions
-
Pat salmon fillets dry and season with salt and pepper.
-
Mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, and lemon juice in a small bowl. Set aside.
-
Heat olive oil and butter in a non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Place salmon skin-side up and sear for 4 minutes. Flip and cook another 3 minutes.
-
Pour the honey-garlic sauce over the salmon. Spoon it over the fillets as it bubbles and reduces, about 3–4 minutes.
-
Remove from heat. Serve over rice or steamed vegetables, spooning remaining pan sauce over the top.
